Residential design and Revit are not often synonymous with each other. However, this class intends to change that perception. This course will delve into design items that can truly affect construction as well as how a client perceives their future home. Furthermore, we will discuss BIM manufacturer(s) resources available and free to all users.
The objective of the Revit for Residential Design course is to enable users, who have a basic knowledge of Revit, to have a stronger understanding of how basic Revit tools can assist in residential design. As well as understand resources available to them.

Prerequisites

Students should be comfortable with the fundamentals of Revit Architecture as taught in the RA101: Revit Architecture 1 – Fundamentals course. Knowledge of basic techniques is assumed, such as creating standard elements, copying and moving elements, creating views, etc.
