CV201: Civil 3D Advanced ‐ Road Design and Improvements

Civil 3D Advanced ‐ Road Design and Improvements course is an advanced course for students who wish to learn how to apply Civil 3D on roadway design and improvement projects. A solid background in the use of Civil 3D Alignments, Profiles, Sample Lines, Sections, Corridors and Subassemblies is recommended before enrolling for this course. (See CV101: Civil 3D Fundamentals)

- Create and edit Offset and Widening parameters
- Create Connected Alignments and Profiles
- Profile View projections and superimposed Profiles
- Corridor with multiple Baselines, Regions and Targets
- Advanced Intersection modeling
- Rehab Corridor
- Subassembly Composer
- Creating Section Sheets
This class is designed for engineers and designers who are already using Civil 3D and are looking to expand their skills in road design and improvements.
This course requires the student to have taken the CV101: Civil 3D Fundamentals course, an equivalent course, or have 80 or more hours of Civil 3D experience prior to registration.

Students will get classroom access to the software and Autodesk Authorized Training courseware (these can be purchased in addition to the training) and the knowledge that will bring users to the next level with Civil 3D.
The course length is a guideline. Course topics and duration may be modified by the instructor based upon the knowledge and skill level of the students. All courses will be taught on the most current release, depending on availability of courseware.
